CASE STUDIES, WHITE PAPERS, ONE PAGERS, BROCHURES, DIRECT MAIL, oh my!
If it’s printed, I design it (and write it) to actually be read.

LEADERSHIP PROGRAM BROCHURE
Institute for Peace & Justice |
Kroc School, University of San Diego
I designed and wrote the introductory content for a leadership program brochure aimed at uniting private sector innovators, public policy leaders, and civic changemakers in a transformational learning journey. I designed the layout to stand out as a unique offering, yet align with UC San Diego brand guidelines.
CASE STUDIES
PIVOT LEADERSHIP
As Pivot Leadership’s Creative Director, I co-wrote and designed this case study to help shape the voice of our brand during its early growth. Our goal was to break away from stiff, academic writing and create content that felt engaging, relatable, and visually modern. I developed the central metaphor comparing leadership development to the evolution from cassette tapes to iPods—simple, yet powerful imagery that made the complex topic feel accessible. After testing external writers who couldn’t quite capture the tone we needed, I partnered directly with one of our managing partners to craft a narrative that reflected Pivot’s creative, forward-thinking approach. The final piece set a new standard for how we communicated with our clients, blending storytelling, strategic design, and a conversational brand voice.
BROCHURE
HACIENDA
I designed the layout for Hacienda’s corporate brochure, a key marketing piece aimed at attracting business investors, tenants, and stakeholders to the Tri-Valley region. The project’s goal was to position Hacienda as a premier business destination by highlighting its high ROI, central location, robust infrastructure, and access to world-class resources. My layout approach focused on presenting dense economic and infrastructure data in a clean, approachable way, using visual hierarchy, infographics, and spacious design to make the content engaging and easy to navigate. This brochure played a vital role in conveying Hacienda’s strategic advantages and was crafted to align with their brand’s professional yet inviting tone.
CASE STUDIES
EXECUTIVE DEVELOPMENT CONSULTING (EDC)
As part of the rebranding project I led for EDC, we worked on a series of case studies designed to address a key marketing challenge: while clients trusted their individual consultants, they were often unaware of the broader expertise and services available across the newly expanded firm. Our marketing analysis revealed that EDC’s brand perception was too siloed—clients saw them as a collection of individuals, not as a unified team with deep, diverse capabilities. Through these case studies, we highlighted cross-functional projects that showcased EDC’s collective problem-solving approach. I worked closely with consultants to extract compelling narratives, ensuring the final stories communicated the firm’s depth, versatility, and collaborative edge.
